Game setup
  • Setup a pitch
  • Break your squad of players up into 2 teams
  • Provide bibs for one of the teams
Make it harder
  • For Under 7s start with 3 passes
  • Under 8 and 9s start initially with 3 passes but increase to 5 passes
  • Under 10s - start with 5 passes
  • Under 14s - start with 8 passes
  • Under 16+ start with 10 passes
The rules
Colors Passing--Half of the players in red bibs, half in blue. Teams playing AGAINST each other in the same space must combine 3 or 5, or 10 passes (depending on age and ability) .

The game is simple and one that was taught to me by Andy McCulloch, former Q.P.R., Cardiff City, Oxford United, Brentford, Sheffield Wednesday, Crystal Palace and Aldershot player.  An all round legend!

  • If a team achieves their passing goal, they get a point.
  • If the ball goes out of play then reset the game and roll a new ball in
  • If the defending team touches the ball, the passing count reset
