Passing for points

Passing for points

This game is a fantastic game! The kids love it. What is amazing if this game is depending on what your training session you can easily adapt this game to that! For example:
Game setup
If you have a total of for example 10 kids
  • Set up 10 cones
  • Put the kids into pairs
  • 1 ball between pair
Rules
The Player attempt to pass the ball to each other (using with the inside of their foot) and hit the other cone
  • If they hit the cone, that is 1 point
  • Nominate a player to keep the score
  • After 2 minutes find out the score i.e. how hit the cone the most
  • The winner moves up
  • The loser moves down
Competition
  • Once everyone has played each other they have a final match. Everyone comes over to watch this final game between the 2 kids on the top game
    • This helps to create a bit of competition for older kids
For advance players
To make this game more advanced, try one of the following:
  • Make the distance to the cones between each pair variable distance
  • Use only your weaker foot
