Molesey Juniors Play At Wembley!

Yes, you read that right! On August 9th, 2021, eight fearless young players stepped on to the turf at Wembley Stadium for their debut performance! Molesey Juniors was selected from a list of community football clubs, to put forward a small squad of our younger players for a Mc Donald's event to promote the 5,000,000 free hours of coaching they have provided over the course of the summer.

Frank Lampard, Martin Keown and David James were among the famous names in attendance on the day. The players had a one hour coaching session on the pitch, and at the end were handed a certificate by none other than Sir Geoff Hurst! Some of us parents were a bit starry-eyed, what with all the various celebs in attendance!

It was a fantastic day out, and the event even made the London news that evening. Keep it up boys and girls- and with any luck you'll follow in Luke Shaw's footsteps one day!

Well done to the England Team on their success at The Euros. Getting to the final was a huge achievement!

And we couldn't be prouder of Molesey Juniors' Alumnus Luke Shaw who scored the fastest opening goal in Euros history!

Over the last week the club has been contacted by many news outlets including the BBC, Sunday Telegraph, The Mirror, Surrey Live and more. We're proud to be recognised as the club where Luke Shaw's playing career began and hope he will continue to inspire the next generation of young players. Cup Winners!

Not one, but TWO Molesey Juniors teams finished on top with wins in their league cups at the end of season! Huge congratulations to the
U11 Falcons, and the U9 Dynamites who won their age group cup in the Epsom & Ewell league this year.

Brilliant effort from the boys and thanks as always to the coaches for giving up so much of their time.

England Star Declan Rice sends a message to Molesey Juniors Under 7s!

Declan Rice took some time out of his busy Euro 2020 training schedule to send a video to the Under 7s for their End of Season Tournament and awards on Saturday 3rd July.

It was a fantastic event, with the 4 Under 7 teams split into 6 teams for the tournament. After a tense final the winners were... Italy!

Our wonderful Sponsors, DiSotto Ice Cream, donated over 150 ice creams and lollies for the children and parents to enjoy on the day.

A massive thanks to Robbie, Adam, Rory, Martin and Rob along with everyone else who helped make it happen.
